I’m a Birmingham-based female, LGBTQ+ Personal Trainer offering flexible support and guidance to help you reach your goals. Whether you’re already active and looking to fine-tune your current training, or you’re starting from scratch and want to make positive lifestyle changes that will stick for the long-term - I’m here to help you get there.

Training Philosophy
I train my clients like I train myself - for longevity. We'll focus on building functional strength, explosive power and agility, and cardio fitness - helping you to move better and feel more capable than ever before.

I offer a number of training packages including a programming service, remote coaching via a dedicated app, and 1-2-1 sessions delivered via Zoom or in person at a private personal training studio in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

Only
Ideal for those who have solid experience in the gym, and just want to bring some structure to their training via a personalised programme to follow. Your programme will be tailored to your goals, your physical capabilities, your preferred duration and number of sessions per week, as well as taking into account the environment you're training in, the equipment you have available and your exercise preferences. Programmes are designed to be followed for 4 weeks before requiring an update to ensure you are continually progressing toward your goals.

Remote Coaching
Designed for clients who have some experience in the gym, but need a little more support from a coach to ensure they’re getting the most out of their training and help them to make healthier lifestyle choices.
As above, your programme will be tailored specifically to you, but will be delivered to you via the TrueCoach mobile training app - allowing you to watch video demonstrations, track your workouts and film any ‘problem’ exercises to get feedback on technique.
In addition to the programme, you’ll also get messaging support via the app, plus we’ll do a weekly progress check-in with feedback from me.

1-2-1 Training
1-2-1 training is perfect for those who are new to exercise and want the expertise and reassurance of a coach alongside them, as well as people who know they need a bit of a push to work their hardest and get the most out of their training.
With this package, you get everything that’s included in Remote Coaching, but also get to do some of your training sessions 1-2-1 with me. Sessions can be delivered via online video conferencing, or in person at a private personal training studio in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

The Studio
The gym can be an intimidating place - especially if you're new to exercise, or you don't feel comfortable or safe training in front of lots of strangers. I've always loved fitness, but as a member of the LGBTQ+ community I haven't always felt at home in commercial gyms. I wanted to create a space where people of all fitness abilities, genders, sexualities and backgrounds could come and train; free from judgement, prying eyes and expectations on how to look and behave. I've built a private 1-2-1 personal training studio in the garden of my Kings Heath home, which contains everything we need to give you a great workout. The space is for you, not me, so for the hour we’re in there you’re in control of the speaker - whether it's thrash metal, techno or k-pop that gets you fired up.



Profile
As a trainer, I believe that improving your physical health can transform how you experience life.
In addition to looking after your body, regular training can improve your self-esteem, energy levels and mental clarity, as well as your ability to handle stress, find enjoyment in the everyday and focus on the big picture instead of worrying about the small stuff. Helping people to experience this is what gets me out of bed each morning.
Having spent over 10 years in the creative industries working with global sports brands prior to becoming a full-time trainer, I understand both the challenges - and the rewards - of incorporating fitness into a busy schedule. This personal experience helps me guide and support my clients from a place of empathy, as they start to prioritise their health and improve their happiness and well-being.
I am particularly passionate about helping people who are totally new to the gym - or perhaps feel that the gym isn’t a space for them - to find their feet and start making long-term positive lifestyle changes.
